Wilson Well Drilling is a full-line water well drilling company which is fully licensed and properly insured. We drill everything from the domestic well for a single home to irrigation wells requiring hundreds or thousands of gallons per minute for large farm, golf, municipal, or industrial applications. We also drill geothermal wells and test wells for individual customers or consulting engineering firms. We have the skill and flexibility to meet your specific drilling project needs. Located in Springfield, we provide our services throughout Southern Ontario.

WHAT WE DO
With both air rotary and cable tool drill rigs, we have the right drill rig to properly construct your well, depending upon the unique geology at your location. We pride ourselves on drilling water wells which produce freshwater; doing everything we can to avoid the rotten-egg smell of sulphur water. While we can’t make freshwater, if it is there we can get it. In many instances, we have been able to find freshwater where other contractors have been unsuccessful.
WELL SCREENING
Another important point is that an expensive component of water wells is often the stainless steel screen. In about half of our wells, a screen is required to hold back the sand and gravel of the water-bearing formation (aquifer) while letting the water flow into the well. The amount of screen required is based on the thickness of the producing portion of the aquifer. We install only the amount of screen that is needed. We don’t install 8 feet of screen just for something to do. Putting screen where there isn’t a producing aquifer doesn’t make sense, and ends up costing the customer more money, without any added value.
It isn’t just the cost per foot that determines the price of the job! The cheapest price per foot isn’t always the least expensive well.
